My Essay

I believe that my essay is an argmentative essay because my essay is trying to get people to realize the importance of teen life in NYC. Many people may argue that it is not important and that it doesn't make a difference. In my essay i am trying to prove that it is important. I believe that my essay will educate readers about teen issues.

1. my project is a PowerPoint presentation based on teen life.

2. this project is important to me because i feel that many people can connect to this because its something everyone experiences.

3. I'm not sure how long this would take me but i think it would take a while because there is alot of editing involved.

This matters because not alot of people know much about what goes on in the life of teens they only assume. This will also give teens a chance to reflect on their life through poetry and stories.

I can get them from the internet and classmates and friends
This matters because its what the whole presentaion is about.

This matters because i need this so that i can put the presenation together

This matters because this is how i am going to show the presentaion but i dont know how to do it.

backwards planning

) My idea is to make a PowerPoint presentation, instead of a book,
about teen life(poems, writing, etc.)
2) To do this first would have to get people who are willing to write
these poems or stories about teen life.
3) To get people who can submit those things i need to go around and
ask people or find some way to get it known.
4) When i finally know what people would submit this i need them to
take or give images that relate to the story or poem.
5) I would have to find time and space to take pictures if the person
doesn't have images. i could use my digital camera but i would have to
get permission to bring it in school
6) Then i need music that relates to the stories and poems.
7) Then i would have to learn how upload music to put it into a
PowerPoint presentation.
8) I would have to put every thing together into the PowerPoint presentation.
9) Then i have to edit the presentation to add custom animation, slide
transitions, color schemes, etc. i could do this at home.
10) finally i would have to show it online.

Digital Portfolio Idea

My idea is to create a presentation with poems or stories about teen life in and outside of school.
People can turn in stories or poems about this that they have written and i turn it into a presentation with animation, music etc. It is a slide show.
